Shops & Wholesalers
A catalogue with prices and stock, delivery to Salyan or Rukum where you offer it, and checkout by eSewa, Khalti or Fonepay. Retailers up the highway order before they travel, or instead of travelling.
I’m Ujjwal Rupakheti, a full-stack developer in Itahari who works online as a web developer in Tulsipur for Dang’s shops, wholesalers, clinics and schools. Websites start from NPR 18,000 and online stores from NPR 60,000. You talk to me on WhatsApp or video in Nepali or English, and see the site grow on a weekly preview link.
The Rapti Highway
The road that runs through Tulsipur’s bazaar
The Tulsipur market
Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City is the second city of Dang District after Ghorahi, about 20 km to its east. At the 2021 census, 179,755 people lived in its 19 wards. It was formed in 1992 by joining Tulsipur and Amritpur, and grew again in 2014 when Urahari, Tarigaun, Pawannagar and Halwar were added.
Where Ghorahi is the district’s seat of offices and industry, Tulsipur is its road town. The Rapti Highway leaves the East-West Highway at Satbariya, crosses the valley to Tulsipur and climbs north through Salyan to Musikot in West Rukum, and Dang Airport sits beside it. Travellers from those hills heading south by the highway pass through Tulsipur’s bazaar, which is why the road matters so much: when a landslide at Kapurkot in Salyan closed it for three hours in October 2026, traffic to Dang, Salyan, Rukum and Rolpa stopped.
Health care adds to the traffic. Rapti Provincial Hospital, which began as a health post in 2033 BS, and Rapti Eye Hospital, founded in 1986 and now at Rakshyachaur, both serve patients from well beyond the city.

01Websites
A Tulsipur customer often lives a bus ride away, so the website has one job above all: answer the question that decides whether the trip is worth it. Is it in stock, is the doctor in, is admission open? The build process is on my web developer in Nepal page.
A catalogue with prices and stock, delivery to Salyan or Rukum where you offer it, and checkout by eSewa, Khalti or Fonepay. Retailers up the highway order before they travel, or instead of travelling.
Doctors, OPD days, tests and prices on one page each, with an appointment request or real time slots, so patients from the hills know the trip will not be wasted.
Programmes, fees, admission dates, notices and results that office staff post themselves, with an enquiry form that reaches WhatsApp and pages for parents searching in Nepali.
Rooms or menus with real photos and prices, directions from the highway and the airport, and one-tap booking for families in town for a hospital visit or a flight.

Case study: EknasA loyalty program SaaS I built for its owners, so Nepali shops can see who their regular customers are and reward them.

Case study: GuruSangaA booking platform I built for a client from a Figma design: real slots from each diary and payment by eSewa or Khalti QR, the same pattern a clinic can use.
02Search
Tulsipur shares its name with a town and tehsil in Balrampur district of Uttar Pradesh, which is what the English Wikipedia article called simply “Tulsipur” describes, and with Tulsipur in Siraha, in eastern Nepal. A page that only says “Tulsipur” leaves Google guessing, so local SEO here starts with saying exactly where you are.
| Step | What to do | Why it matters here |
|---|---|---|
| Titles | Write “Tulsipur, Dang” with your trade, never the bare name | Separates you from the towns in Uttar Pradesh and Siraha |
| Address & pin | Ward number, a landmark such as a chowk, and an exact map pin | Visitors from the hills navigate by landmark |
| Structured data | LocalBusiness with Tulsipur, Dang, Lumbini Province and coordinates | Tells search engines which Tulsipur in plain data |
| Nepali name | Use तुलसीपुर, दाङ on the profile and in Nepali pages | Nepali searches need the same district clue |
| Reviews | A short WhatsApp link after every visit or order | Recent reviews help both ranking and trust |
Examples of how people phrase searches, not search-volume data.
When I searched for website design in Tulsipur, the results were a business directory and agencies from other cities, with nothing written for Dang, so a business that states its location clearly has room to stand out. The method is in local SEO in Nepal and my Google Business Profile guide. For Lumbini Province as a whole, see SEO expert in Butwal; for national campaigns, SEO expert in Nepal.
Working together
Tulsipur is about 515 km from Itahari in a straight line, at the other end of the East-West Highway. I don’t travel to Dang, so every project runs online: WhatsApp and video calls in Nepali or English, and payment in stages by eSewa, Khalti or bank transfer against a fixed quote.
You show me the shop, clinic or school on a call and tell me where your customers come from.
A fixed quote in writing, plus a list of photos to take on a phone: shelves, rooms, signboard and the street outside.
A working link every week. You check it on the same phone your customers use and reply with changes.
The site goes live, your Google profile is updated to match it, and every login is handed over in your name.
For shops
A trading town lives on people who come back: think of a shopkeeper from Sharada who restocks every month, or a family who always buys school supplies in the same lane. Knowing who they are, and giving them a reason to return, is worth as much as any new customer from Google.
That is the problem Eknas was built for, and its owners describe it in their own words.
Businesses in Nepal rarely know who their regular customers are, or whether an offer actually brings anyone back. Ujjwal Rupakheti built Eknas to change that: a free wallet for customers, a counter app where staff record a purchase by phone number or QR code, and a dashboard where owners run offers and see results by branch. He understood the problem and built every part of it properly.
Pricing
Prices are the same across Nepal: websites from NPR 18,000, online stores and booking from NPR 60,000, SaaS from NPR 70,000 and SEO audits from NPR 15,000. A wholesaler taking orders from the hills usually needs the store tier.

Coverage
I work with businesses across Dang and with traders in Salyan, Rolpa and Rukum who sell through Tulsipur. For Dang’s headquarters and its cement belt, see Ghorahi; for the border city to the west, Nepalgunj.
Shops, clinics, the name problem and working online, for Tulsipur, Dang.
Ask me on WhatsAppA static site for a shop, clinic or hotel starts from NPR 18,000. A school or company site with a CMS starts from NPR 35,000, and an online store or appointment booking with eSewa, Khalti and Fonepay from NPR 60,000. Domain and hosting are extra, and the quote is fixed in writing after a short call.
Yes. An online store can list the places you deliver to, with charges and days for each, and take payment by eSewa, Khalti or Fonepay. Orders arrive as a clean list you can pack from, instead of phone calls and photos. If the Rapti Highway closes, you can show a notice on every page in seconds.
Always write “Tulsipur, Dang” in titles, your address and your Google profile, never the bare name. Add LocalBusiness structured data with the district, province and map coordinates, and put an exact pin on Google Maps. Those clues separate you from the town in Balrampur, Uttar Pradesh, and from Tulsipur in Siraha.
Yes. A simple clinic site with doctors, OPD days and an appointment request starts from NPR 18,000. Real time slots from each doctor’s diary, with an optional deposit by eSewa or Khalti, start from NPR 60,000. It is the same pattern I built for GuruSanga, a booking platform for Nepal.
No. I work from Itahari, about 515 km away in a straight line, and I don’t travel to Dang. Projects run on WhatsApp, video calls and a preview link every week. Websites, Google Business Profiles and Search Console are all managed online, so being remote changes very little for you.
For most shops and clinics, Nepali first. At the 2011 census, about three quarters of residents spoke Nepali as their first language and most of the rest Tharu, and customers from the hills mostly read Nepali. Add English for colleges, hotels and suppliers selling beyond Dang, with hreflang tags so Google shows each version correctly.
Profile fixes, such as the right category, an exact pin and current hours, can show within weeks. Ranking for wider searches, such as clinics or wholesalers in Dang, usually takes three to six months of steady page and review work. Nobody can honestly promise a position, and I report results every month.
You do. The domain, hosting, code and content are in your name after the final payment, and I hand over every login with a short guide to running the site. If you change developers later, everything they need is already in your hands.
Tell me what you sell or treat, and where your customers travel from. I answer within one working day with questions and a first estimate.
