Jhapa is not one market but a string of towns along one highway, between the hills of Ilam and the borders with West Bengal and Bihar. Each has its own trade, so each needs a different kind of website.

Birtamod’s municipality calls it the eastern gateway and a major commercial hub. Trade and banking for the district gathered here, and local factories make steel, cement, plywood, pipes, bricks and tea.

Damak had about 107,000 people at the 2021 census. Many ex-Gurkha soldiers live here, and its schools, technical college, clinics and shops serve the villages around it.

The district headquarters sits on the Mechi River, with flights to Kathmandu from Bhadrapur Airport. It is a tea centre too: the Budhakaran Tea Estate there is described as Nepal’s first private estate.

At Kakarbhitta the East-West Highway ends at the Mechi Bridge to Panitanki in India. About 9,500 foreign tourists entered Nepal here by land last fiscal year, along with a steady flow of trade.

Jhapa grows most of Nepal’s CTC tea, yet a buyer in Kathmandu or abroad rarely finds a garden’s own website. A tea site that actually sells needs five things, and I build all of them.

Jhapa searches are spread across towns and spellings. The same place is typed as Birtamod or Birtamode, Kakarbhitta, Kakarvitta or Kakadbhitta, and a page that only uses one spelling misses the rest. Travellers coming in from India search in English or Hindi, while tea buyers search by grade and origin, not by town.
So I research the variants first, then build one strong page per town you really serve, instead of thin copies. My keyword research page shows how.

Yes. A tea site needs the story of the garden, each grade or product on its own page, wholesale and export enquiry forms, and English for buyers outside Nepal. If you sell direct, I add an online store with eSewa and Khalti for Nepal and PayPal or card for buyers abroad.
Use the official spelling in your Google Business Profile and headings, then include the common variants naturally in your text, such as Kakarvitta or Birtamode. Google understands many variants, but mentioning them helps. Don’t make a separate page for each spelling; that creates thin duplicates.
Yes. Alongside eSewa, Khalti and Fonepay QR for Nepal, I can add PayPal or card payments, prices in USD and shipping rules by country, as on the international site of Nimtto. For tea or crafts sold abroad, I also write product pages in clear English and add product structured data.

Yes. I set up or fix your Google Business Profile with the right category, exact pin, photos, prices and English descriptions, then link it to a fast booking page. Travellers often decide before they cross the border, so reviews and photos matter as much as the website.
Google Business Profile fixes can show results within weeks. Ranking pages for competitive searches usually takes three to six months, depending on the town and trade. Tea and export searches are national or international, so they need more content and links than local searches.
