Australian rules
Australian sites have their own privacy, email and domain rules, and the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 covers websites too, so I build to WCAG 2.2 AA.
The 13 Australian Privacy Principles cover what you collect, why, and how you protect it. Many businesses with A$3 million turnover or less are exempt today, but the government has agreed in principle to remove that exemption, so I build as if the Act applies.
Marketing emails and texts need consent, must identify you and must carry a working unsubscribe. I build sign-up forms that record consent and connect them properly to your email tool.
A .com.au needs an Australian presence, such as an ABN, and a name connected to your business. Since 2022 the shorter .au exists too. I register in your name and redirect the spare, so one version ranks.
Australians search with local spelling and by suburb. I research Australian keyword data, set up a Google Business Profile per location and mark pages en-AU if you also trade overseas.

Sydney is 5 hours 15 minutes ahead of Nepal from October to April, during daylight saving, and 4 hours 15 minutes ahead from April to October. So 9:00 in Sydney is 03:45 in Nepal in summer and 04:45 in winter, and my 09:00 start is your 14:15 or 13:15.
In your afternoon. On call days I start at 07:00 Nepal time, which is 12:15 in Sydney during daylight saving and 11:15 in winter, so a call after lunch is easy. Perth is easier still: from 09:15 your time until you finish, my day overlaps yours.
Possibly not today: many businesses with annual turnover of A$3 million or less are exempt, with exceptions such as health service providers and businesses that trade in personal information. The government has agreed in principle to remove the exemption, with no start date set, so I build every site as if the Act applies. Your lawyer has the final say.
Not to rank, but it tells Australian customers and Google that you’re local. You need an Australian presence, such as an ABN, and a name connected to your business. I register it in your business’s name, never mine, and redirect any other version you own.

I research keywords on Australian search data, write in Australian English, build pages for the suburbs or cities you serve and set up Google Business Profile for each location, with technical SEO fixed in the code. Results depend on competition, so I report monthly rather than promise positions.
In USD, by bank transfer, Wise or PayPal, in milestones set out in the contract. Wise and PayPal show the Australian-dollar amount before you send. Domain, hosting, paid plugins and tools stay in your name, and you pay those providers directly.
