Bharatpur became a metropolitan city in 2017 by merging Narayani and Chitrawan municipalities with Kabilas. It sits where the Mahendra Highway meets the Madan Ashrit Highway to Mugling, so trade, patients and tourists all pass through.

Farming still drives the district: maize is the main crop, Chitwan’s mustard oil is known across Nepal, and the district leads the country in poultry. One of Nepal’s largest rice mills, Agam Food Industry, is in Bharatpur.
Health care is just as big. BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital was built here with Chinese help in 1994, and Chitwan Medical College and the College of Medical Sciences both run teaching hospitals. Each of these trades searches differently.

Can You Add Booking to My Sauraha Lodge Website?
Yes. Most lodges start with direct booking enquiries by WhatsApp and email from every room and package page, which costs nothing per booking. If you want guests to pay a deposit online, I can add card or PayPal for visitors from abroad and eSewa or Khalti for guests from Nepal.
How Do I Compete with Booking Sites in Chitwan Searches?
You rarely outrank the big booking sites for “hotels in Sauraha”, but you can win your own name, Google Maps and specific searches such as a safari type or the best season. A complete Google profile, real reviews and pages that answer those questions bring guests who book with you directly.
Do You Meet Clients in Chitwan?
Not usually. I work from Itahari, more than 300 km east, so Chitwan projects run on WhatsApp, video calls and weekly preview links. Your Google Business Profile, Search Console and website are all managed online, so distance changes very little in practice.
Can You Build a Website for a Clinic or Hospital in Bharatpur?
Yes. Clinics and hospitals need pages for each department and doctor, opening hours, appointment requests and directions, in Nepali and English. I add medical structured data so Google understands each service, and set up the Google Business Profile so patients find the right number.

Yes. A farm or feed supplier usually needs a product list, prices or a price-on-request form, delivery areas and a WhatsApp order button, mostly in Nepali. For mustard oil, honey or other packaged produce, an online store with eSewa and Khalti starts from NPR 60,000.
Should a Chitwan Tourism Site be in English or Nepali?
English first, because most guests who book ahead from abroad search in English. Add Nepali pages if many of your guests are domestic tourists, who often search and message in Nepali. I set up both versions with correct hreflang tags so Google shows each visitor the right language.
How Long Does SEO Take for a Lodge or Tour Company?
Google Maps improvements often show within weeks; a hospitality client of mine reached the Maps top 3 in six weeks. Ranking for wider tourist searches takes three to six months or more, so it pays to start before the main season rather than during it.
