Eutaa

Work, people and money for the whole team in one place: HR, payroll, finance and projects.

Most small companies in Nepal run attendance in one app, payroll in a spreadsheet, invoices in another tool and projects in a chat group. Eutaa puts work, people and money in one system, with Nepali compliance built in.

01 / Overview

The problem

A growing team needs attendance, leave, payroll, invoicing and project tracking. In Nepal, payroll and finance also have to handle VAT, the Social Security Fund and TDS correctly. Off-the-shelf tools either ignore those rules or only cover one part of the job.

Eutaa started as a redevelopment of an earlier platform, KLIXIR. The goal was a stronger security model and a much broader product.

What I built

Eutaa covers HR, attendance and leave, payroll and finance with Nepal compliance (VAT, SSF and TDS), projects and work logs, and team messaging, in one application. Every employee has their own view, with shortcuts to their attendance, leave and notifications.

Permissions are checked on the server, every important action is written to an audit log, and an MCP server lets AI assistants work with company data through the same permission rules as a person.

02 / Features

What it does

03 / Architecture

How it's built

Eutaa technology stack
ServerFastify 5
DataPostgreSQL with the Drizzle ORM
Front endReact 19, built with Vite and Rolldown
RealtimeWebSocket
AIModel Context Protocol (MCP) server
SecurityStrict CSP with no inline scripts, HSTS, X-Frame-Options DENY, a tight Permissions-Policy

Eutaa is a React 19 application on a Fastify 5 API with PostgreSQL and Drizzle. Real-time features such as messaging and live updates use WebSocket, and the demo runs as a fully separate deployment with its own database and socket origin.

The start-up script is an external file, so the Content-Security-Policy can forbid inline scripts entirely. Camera, location, payment and USB access are switched off at the browser level.

Engineering highlights

01

Compliance as a feature

Payroll and finance follow Nepali rules for VAT, SSF and TDS. Those rules are part of the product's model, so a company does not rebuild them in a spreadsheet every month.

02

AI that respects permissions

Eutaa includes an MCP server, the open protocol that lets AI assistants call tools. An assistant can look up work, people or finance data, but only through the same server-side permission checks that apply to the person using it.

03

A redevelopment, done properly

Eutaa replaced an earlier platform, KLIXIR. The rebuild moved permissions to the server, added an audit log and widened the product from a narrow tool to a full operating system for a company.

05 / Status

Where it stands

Eutaa is live and used every day at Ektukra. A separate demo environment at demo.eutaa.com is available for walkthroughs.

It shows the business software I build for companies: several departments in one system, local compliance built in, server-side security, and AI access that does not bypass the rules.
